Ashitaba is a traditional, Japanese, medicinal herb called Angelica Keiskei Koidzmi. It has been consumed as a vegetable and medicine for many hundreds of years by the habitants of Seven Islands of Izu (the Longevity Islands). Ashitaba is a multifunctional Super Green Food rich in amino acids, vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll, enzymes, fiber and calcium. It restores health at the cellular level which is an important factor for healthy tissues and the efficient function of organs. Its also known to stimulate production of nerve growthy factor (NGF).
